Embroidery IG page
The whole design was thought of as a more stylized piece of work therefore I chose to take the image of the flowers and put a watercolor filter over it, to make it seem less like a photograph and more of something that could be made on cloth.
My client requested a logo for her embroidery Instagram page, she wanted a logo that uses elements of embroidery into the design.
For the base of the design, I tried to emulate the look of an embroidery ring, a circular design with a design in the middle. I chose some flowers to be the centerpiece as my client does a lot of flora designs. Typography
The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog
Originally when my client came with the logo request she showed me a serif font she liked and wanted me to use, because of the nature of the circular design and trying to curve the type some fonts don't work in this situation. I came back to her with multiple fonts and asked her to pick some, all the fonts I presented were fonts I tried out beforehand to make sure they worked when curved. She picked the one called 'lobster'.
