For the logo, I wanted to make one using my name EmDee which can be shortened to MD. I made a crest design using the two letters by just rotating the 'D'.
When designing my business card I had the idea in mind to put a bar code on it so I can show people my portfolios when I go to meetings or events. My favorite shade of purple(#956ecc) and white are the primary colours and black is an accent colour.
Typography
The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog
When choosing the font to use for my business card I wanted one that was thin but not condensed which fit with the minimalistic theme I was going for. I chose Gotham X light as out of all the other fonts it was the one like was based on a perfect square while others were more rectangle shaped.
Artist cover
Here I was making artist cover mock-ups, inspired by Spotify's album covers for popular artists. I used pictures of me to make covers and tried to tailor them towards the MD brand and use the purple(#956ecc) and the font.
